Memberships

The J.W. Hayden Recreation Centre is a membership-based organization. All participants must have an active membership for the duration of their chosen activity.

Membership Eligibility

To register for a Hayden Recreation a membership, participants shall meet one of the following criteria:

• Reside in Lexington
• Attend a full-time school (Grades K-12) in Lexington
• Work in Lexington
• Membership for the Hayden Ice Facility has no residency restrictions but is valid only for the Ice Facility from September through June.
  
  

Facility Access

• Membership grants access to designated pool, gymnasium, ice rink, and weight room hours, depending on membership type and age. 
• Facility schedules change seasonally and are available under the Schedules section of our website.
• When facility use specifies “Member & Guardian,” a guardian (age 18+) must accompany the youth participant. Only the youth needs an active membership.
  

Resident Memberships

• Available to Lexington residents only.
• Youth Membership (Ages birth–21 years):
• Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Adult Membership (Ages 21+):
• Senior discount applied for 60+
• Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Non-Resident Rec Membership

• Valid ONLY at the Hayden Recreation Centre.
• Youth (Grades K–12): 
• Available to non-residents who attend a full-time Lexington school.
• Valid from September – June.
• Adult (Ages 18+):
• Available to non-residents who work in Lexington.
• Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Non-Resident Ice Membership 

• Valid ONLY at the Hayden Ice Facility.
• All Ages: 
• Available to all non-residents.
• Valid from September – June
