Halloween Party

Join us for Hayden’s spooktacular Halloween Party, held each October—usually on a Saturday! All Hayden members are welcome (no registration required). Come dressed in your costume and get ready for inflatables, games, prizes, and festive fun for the whole family.

Egg Hunt

Celebrate spring at Hayden’s annual Egg Hunt with a visit from the Hayden Bunny! Hunt for colorful eggs, collect prizes, and snap a photo with the Bunny. Registration is required, and each household must have at least one active Hayden membership to participate.

Penny Carnival

Held annually in February, the Penny Carnival is your chance to burn off some winter energy with inflatables, games, prizes, and more! No pennies (or registration) required—just bring your Hayden membership and your excitement for fun!

Ice Events 

Hayden’s ice events celebrate the joy and progress of our skating community through fun, family-friendly performances and competitions. From the Holiday Skate Show and Spring Skate Show to the Basic Skills Competition, these events give skaters of all levels the chance to shine and share their love of the ice.

Birthday Parties

Looking for a fun, active, and memorable way to celebrate your child’s birthday? Join us at the J.W. Hayden Recreation Centre for a Saturday afternoon party your child will never forget!

One Day Programs 

Explore your creativity with our fun and engaging one-day enrichment programs! From art and cooking to pottery and STEAM, past offerings have included flower arranging, wreath making, holiday cookies, and more. Perfect for trying something new in a single session! 

School's Out Childcare and Programs 

No school? No problem! Hayden’s School’s Out Childcare turns days off into big adventures. From gym games and outdoor play to creative crafts and team challenges, our full-day programs keep kids active,engaged, and smiling all day long. Whether it’s a holiday, professional development day, or school vacation week, we’ve got the fun covered—so parents can breathe easy and kids can make the most of their day.
