About our coaches:
Samantha Aucello- Acro and Lyrical Teams
Ms. Samantha has been dancing for as long as she can remember. She began her training at Lisa Liston School of Dance and received her degree in Dance from Salem State University in May of 2018. While studying at Salem State, Samantha studied with Meghan McLyman, Betsy Miller, James Morrow, as well as performed in pieces choreographed by William (Bill) Evans and Nateli Ruiz. Samantha was a choreographer for Salem State University’s Repertory Dance Theatre as well as Salem Dance Ensemble. She created numerous tap, contemporary and jazz pieces. She was a two-time Presidential Arts Scholarship winner as well as the recipient of the Meaghan Noel Scholarship for Dance. Over the years, she has danced in many recitals, competed in numerous competitions, and performed in full length shows such as The Nutcracker. As a competitive dancer, she has won many high score and special awards.
Samantha has taught lyrical, ballet, tap, jazz, Acro, and hip hop classes to students of all ages at many different levels. She graduated from the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston and the American Society’s Dance Education Training Course as the valedictorian of the class, receiving the Lila Frances Viles Award. Her passion for dance really shows whether she is on stage performing or teaching in a classroom. She wants to be able to share her passion with others and can’t wait to show her love of dance to the world.
Dakota “Koty” Mammoli- Acro and Hip Hop Teams
Ms. Koty began dancing at the age of 2 and studied all genres of dance at both a recreational and competitive level until graduating from high school. She went on to study at Bridgewater State University where she graduated with her BA in Dance. While in college she held the position of Vice President for Refined Movement dance club, Treasurer of the National Dance Education Organization Student Organization, and was an active member and choreographer for BSU’s Dance Company. She is currently a member of the National Dance Education Organization, of which she has both attended and presented at their annually held conferences. She continues to attend classes and yearly workshops to stay up to date in the dance teaching world and provide the best class experience for her students, and she is thrilled to be teaching back at Hayden! She is so excited to continue learning and dancing with her students this year!
Lila Ablimit- Hip Hop Teams
Lila is a rising senior at Lexington High School and has been dancing hip hop for the past five years- three of those being on the Senior Hip Hop Team under the guidance of Ms. Chelsey at Hayden. She has also participated in the K-pop dance club at LHS and founded an urban dance club at LHS her sophomore year. Lila worked as a dance teaching assistant at Hayden during the 2018-2019 program year and has taught her own hip hop workshops to young children in Lexington.
We hope to see you at try-outs in the fall!
