ALL SPORTS

Come and play a different game each week to promote team work, sportsmanship and most of all, fun! We’ll play everyone’s favorite dodgeball games, basketball, floor hockey, flag football and so much more.

ARCHERY

Our archery class will teach the concentration, patience and confidence essential for safety and enjoyment of the sport. This class will give participants the opportunity to improve archery skills, and have fun!

BASKETBALL

Basketball classes are offered to children age 3 through middle school.
Classes are energetic, participative and fun. Each week players are introduced to new individual and team drills encompassing the fundamental skills of basketball. The drills and activities are designed to keep the players engaged while working on skill development. Classes will focus on footwork, dribbling, passing and receiving the ball, shooting, and ball handling.

FLOOR HOCKEY

Learn the game of hockey while developing skills and techniques to improve your game such as stick handling, ball control and shooting. Each class will end with children being divided into teams for game play.

FOOTBALL

This class is designed to teach basic skills and concepts of football. We’ll
focus on throwing, catching, kicking, and running! No tackling—just fun!!

NERF UP!

Learn to hide, work together and let loose in a Nerf challenge! We will set up obstacles around the gym to run and hide behind. Use team work and strategy to devise a plan to conquer your opponent!

OPEN PLAY TIME - DROP IN

Come run, jump and play in the Hayden gym with your friends! Your child can practice balancing and coordination while climbing our gym mats and jumping in the bouncy house! A great opportunity to spend some time with your Hayden friends!

SOCCER

Soccer classes are offered for children from age 3 through 2nd grade. In each class we will work on developing students’ basic to intermediate foot skills (dribbling, passing, trapping, scoring), as well as sportsmanship and team play. Students will learn basic soccer fundamentals in a fun and encouraging environment.

TABLE TENNIS

Come learn the basics of this great and popular sport! You will start with a
warm up consisting of various hand-eye coordinated motions, followed by
skill work which will be different each week. Finish the class off with matches against your fellow class mates and see who prevails.

TENNIS

Come and learn the basic rules and skills of the game. Each class will start
with a quick warm up that will help with your hand eye coordination. Learn
proper grip, foot work, serving, match play and other fundamentals in order to play the game. Finish the class with a match against your classmates.

TRACK STARS!

Get to learn all of the different track and field events that surround this popular sport! Each week we will start with a warm up consisting of few dynamic exercises to stretch out. We’ll then work on a different track event each weeksprinting, hurdles, shot put and javelin throw, all designed to meet our young participants’ level.
